The downfall of Mario?

As Mario went to attack the W.P.S, he vanished and re-appeared right behind Mario and put his face into the ground yelling that he was no match for him. Mario was struggling under his strength but with no success. The W.P.S took Mario's Keyblade from him saying that such a powerful weapon was in the hands of a weak fool. Could Mario's quest be over already?
