The Heart</u>
The almighty heart is our cure
Its what keeps you and me true
It keeps our hearts pure
So together, our hearts are tight as a shoe
But what if deception and lies wait
For it to creep upon the heart
Is so, would darkness be its new trait
Would it be swift and sharp like a dart
Would our hearts be separate by far
Would they be alone in despair
Our hearts would be burnt like char
And they would need some repair
But even in the darkest spots
In our beating hearts
Is a light to guide you back to our thoughts
Our hearts together fit like clockwork parts
